Time to party and pay forward our joy!
Forget just getting older, we are 4 years stronger as of this week!
With all of the challenges of the past two years, I'm so proud to say we are still here--moving our minds, hearts, and bodies together 4 years after my very first Katie Moves Taipei newsletter! Our community survived mask mandates, reduced class sizes, and the move to virtual classes while also celebrating victories like the very first Lunar Light Up program and the first Fit + Flaunt class on Uniigym!
Just this week as the mask requirement for in-person classes was once again lifted, I truly became emotional seeing your beautiful faces smiling and sweating-- a fantastic 4th Anniversary gift to me and one I will never take for granted!
More than ever, I am so incredibly grateful and humbled by the support, enthusiasm, and love you have shown me and one another in our special family! In addition to celebrating our 4th Anniversary by giving you the gift of buy one get one free online class during March, I especially want to focus on paying forward to others some of the kindness from our community.
And so, next Sunday 3/13 from 2-3 pm, we will be having an Online Charity Party for our 4th Anniversary Celebration! We'll be dancing to some of your favorite songs from both Zumba and Fit + Flaunt during this live-stream event which is completely free of charge to you! In the spirit of spreading our love of community and movement on to others in need, I've decided to collect donations for the Artistic Swimming Association of Taiwan -- an organization which trains groups of young athletes including children with mental and physical disabilities. While the news in the world seems overwhelming at the moment, there is no better time to appreciate what we have and create more joy together, so as to go out and pay forward more kindness and happiness to those we meet.
