Grateful for you!
Happy Thanksgiving! If you haven’t been able to tell by now, I’m a total holiday person. I love any excuse to gather with the people I care about, cook, and eat foods that conjure up childhood memories of simpler times. Thanksgiving ranks pretty high on my favorite holidays list. What’s not to love with turkey, stuffing, and at least two kinds of dessert? Even with all the time it takes in the kitchen, Thanksgiving feels so much more stress-free than holidays that require gift-giving and entire albums of festive music.
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is that time right between the second helpings and the start of pie where my friends and I take turns to say what we are thankful for. I wanted to share my list with you:
I’m grateful for the love, support and health of my family which makes living far away from where they are feel possible.
I’m thankful for the family of friends I have around the world, and especially in Taiwan, who have been bottomless wells of advice, acceptance, and love.
I’m grateful to Taiwan for giving me so many opportunities for growth.
I’m grateful to my students and all of you for entrusting me with your time each week, whether that be by coming to class, liking a video, or reading this newsletter.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving . Whether you celebrate the holiday or not, I hope you find many things to be grateful for today!

感恩節快樂
快樂！相信到現在你應該發現我是一個非常喜歡慶祝節日的人。我喜歡任何讓我可以有機會和我關心的人齊聚一堂、一起做菜、一起大吃，這樣的相距總喚起我的兒時記憶、那些單純時光。感恩節應該算是我最愛的節日中名列前茅的，有誰不喜歡火雞、火雞餡和至少兩樣以上的甜點呢？雖然需要花很多時間在廚房準備，但是感覺起來和要送很多禮物與準備節慶專輯的節日比起來，這天似乎輕鬆很多。
我最喜歡感恩節的部分是在第二盤鹹食與第一盤甜點之間，和朋友們輪流分享今年所感恩的人事物，所以今天我想要和你們分享我的感恩清單：
感謝我家人們有健康的身體以及他們的愛與支持，讓我有機會在國外生活。
感謝我在世界各地如同家人般的朋友們，尤其是在台灣的朋友們，他們給我無止盡的建議、愛與包容。
感謝台灣讓我有許多成長的機會。
感謝我的學生們以及所有花時間關注我的朋友們，不論是來上課、喜歡我的影片、或是閱讀這封電子報的你。
不論你有沒有慶祝這個節日的習慣，希望今天你能找到許多感恩的人事物。祝你有個美好的感恩節！
