Feeling that energy boost lately?



I know I am! And it's not just me.



Our classes here in Taipei have been bursting with life – tons of new faces, so much fun, so lively, and yes, so loud! 🥳



Every spring, the world around us seems to wake up: nicer weather, brighter mornings, and markets full of fresh, colorful produce. It's like nature is saying, "Alright, it’s time to move, grow, and make it happen!" It’s enough to make you wonder why we don’t just finally toss out the idea of gloomy January New Year’s resolutions in favor of spring starts to new habits!



Before we slide into a sweat-filled summer, now is the time to dust off any health goals we have put aside and take a fresh look. In this sweet spring spot, motivation may just come more easily for you (as it does for me!) than at any other time of the year. The crisp air calling us outside for walks, budding flowers begging to be slowly breathed in, or longer days making it possible to do an online Zumba class before we crash after work.



The key to making spring truly transformative is in turning this burst of motivation – oh, that fickle, familiar friend who comes and goes – into momentum.



Momentum is what keeps us moving and progressing after we’ve already started. Think of it like keeping a bike moving once you've gotten it going. Those first few pushes take more effort and motivation. With repetition, each pedal moves us forward, helping us ride out those moments when motivation drops off and making bumps in the road less likely to stop us altogether. Momentum is about all those small, achievable, and repeatable steps that slowly build our confidence.



So, ask yourself , what small step can you take this week? And if you were able to consistently repeat this step, how would you feel once summer rolls around?
